IBG has an official R&D partnership with Spain’s leading agricultural university, specifically with the University’s “Departamento de Edafologia y Quimica Agricola”. Together with their leading scientists, we are exploring optimal pre-treatment of olive and other feedstocks to create the ideal substrate for our demonstration plants, installed at the University of Granada and El Aceite de Casa Grande.

El Aceite de Casa Grande

This major olive operator near Andujar, in Jaen is our key strategic partner for production development and feedstock supply. Part of the Vadolivo Group that since 1989 has been dedicated to the production and elaboration of high quality extra virgin olive oil, El Aceite de Casa Grande has been pioneering treatments for olive pomace looking into full circularity.

Dedeso Holdings Incorporated is a majority Ghanaian-owned company that holds the Lake Volta timber salvage concession, Kete Krachi Timber Recovery is Dedeso’s wholly-owned subsidiary that operates the concession. The company is Africa’s largest producer of salvaged hardwood timber and charcoal from its sawmill at Sedorm-Yiti, in Ghana’s Eastern Region. IBG is working with Kete Krachi/Dedeso to explore the potential of utilising biochar from Lake Volta in our frass fertiliser products.

CottonConnect is a social enterprise working with major brands, such as Primark, to deliver sustainable and regenerative cotton programmes with farmers in Gujarat, India, and eastern Turkey. Over the last decade or so, CottonConnect has helped more than 5% of cotton farmers in Gujarat, India, (more than 700,000 farmers) vastly improve their incomes and environmental impact. We work with CC to explore how BSF larvae could convert waste across Gujarat and other states of India, into valuable protein and fertiliser products.

Sustainable Wine Roundtable (SWR) is a 150 strong member organisation of wine producers, retailers and distributors around the world. SWR catalyses change in the wine industry on vineyard regenerative practices, sustainability standards, bottle weight and packaging. Many of SWR members will test IBG’s frass fertiliser products as part of a solution to regenerative agriculture challenges. SWR’s founder is a co-founder of IBG.
